TCM Terra Cotta Warriors

This was an exciting and challenging project for me personally. I had been asked to help out the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis in their large “Terra Cotta Warriors” exhibit. They needed some 3D visualization to tell the story of how the warriors ended up in the ground, what they originally looked like, and how they got to the shape that they are today.
The project itself was wonderful because it was the opportunity to go back and work with former co-workers and peers. Researching the original painting schemes, pouring through documentation provided to me from the National Geographic Magazine and spending lots of time creating models made for a fantastic result.

These are just a few of hundred of samples needed to create the final widescreen movie.
